Main performance 

 

Anti-leakage of cabinet

  The safety cabinet is pressurized to 500Pa, and the residual pressure is not less than 450Pa after 30 minutes, or under the condition of maintaining the air pressure in the safety cabinet at 500Pa ± 50Pa, all welds, gaskets, penetrations and sealant seals of the pressure ventilation system should be smeared with 25% soft soap solution under this pressure condition without soap bubble reaction.

HEPA Filter Integrity

  Both the vertical descent air filter and the exhaust air filter can be scanned. The leakage rate of all sections of the filter and the connection between the frame and the cabinet body should not exceed 0.01% (PAO) of the upstream aerosol weighing concentration.

noise

  The A-weighted noise of the safety cabinet should not exceed 60 dB.

It is tested in a general indoor acoustic environment that is neither fully sound-reflective nor fully sound-absorbent.

illumination

  The average illuminance of the operating cabin of the safety cabinet is not less than 650lx, and the measured value of each illuminance is not less than 430lx.

vibration

  The net vibration amplitude between frequencies 10 Hz and 10 kHz does not exceed 5 μm (rms).

Protection of personnel

  After conducting a test on the safety cabinet with 1×10^8 to 8×10^8 Bacillus subtilis spores for 5 minutes (microbial test), the number of colony-forming units (CFU) of Bacillus subtilis collected from all the impact samplers does not exceed 10. The count of Bacillus subtilis in the slit air sampler culture dish does not exceed 5 CFU, and the control culture dish used for positive comparison is positive (the colony count is greater than 300 CFU).

  The test is repeated three times, and each test should meet the requirements.

Product protection

  After conducting the test with 1×10^6 to 8×10^6 Bacillus subtilis spores for 5 minutes, the number of Bacillus subtilis spores on the agar culture dish does not exceed 5 CFU, and the control culture dish is positive (the colony count is greater than 300 CFU). The test is repeated three times, and each test should meet the requirements.

Cross-contamination protection

  After conducting the test with 1×10^4 to 8×10^4 Bacillus subtilis spores for 5 minutes, Bacillus subtilis was detected in the agar culture dishes from the test sidewall to within 360mm of this sidewall and was used as a positive control. The number of colonies in the agar culture dishes beyond 360mm from the tested sidewall does not exceed 2 CFU.

  The tests were repeated three times respectively from both the left and right sides of the safety cabinet, and the results of each test should meet the requirements.

Downflow velocity

  The descending airflow structure of the safety cabinet is of a small-area uniform type. The difference between the measured values at each measurement point within the four small areas and the average flow rate does not exceed ±0.08m/s.  

Inflow velocity

  The average inflow velocity of the airflow of the safety cabinet is 0.55m/s ± 0.015m/s. The flow rate per meter width of the working area is not lower than 0.11 cubic meters per second.

Airflow pattern

  The airflow in the working area of the safety cabinet is downward, without generating vortices or upward airflow and without dead points.

  The airflow does not escape from the safety cabinet.

  The airflow around the entire periphery of the front window operation opening is inward, and there is no outward escaping airflow. The inflowing airflow at the front window operation opening of the safety cabinet does not enter the working area.

 Operating Cabin Air Quality Class

  For particles with a threshold particle size of 0.3 μm, the air quality grade inside the operation cabin is not worse than level 3.  

Liquid tank leakage

  The volume of the liquid collection tank is not less than 4 liters and there should be no leakage.  

Cabinet anti-dumping

  The safety cabinet will not tip over when tilted sideways by 10°.  

Cabinet anti-deformation

  When a force of 110 kg is applied to the top of the back and the center of the top of the side of the safety cabinet, the deformation displacement at the upper end of the opposite side does not exceed 2 mm.  

Deformation resistance of worktable

  After loading 23 kg at the center of the work surface of the safety cabinet and then unloading, the work surface shall not have permanent deformation.
