● Cabinet anti-lean
When a force of 110 kg is applied to the front edge of the operation opening of the safety cabinet's front window, the distance from the bottom of the back to the ground does not exceed 2 mm.
● Temperature rise
After the safety cabinet's lighting lamp and fan are working and continuously operating for 4 hours, the temperature at the center of the working area does not exceed the ambient temperature outside the safety cabinet by 8℃.
● Motor and fan
The motor of the fan ensures that when the biosafety cabinet is operating normally without adjusting the speed control of the fan, by restricting the negative pressure airflow of the biosafety cabinet and increasing the initial negative pressure reading by 200% or more of the initial positive pressure reading, the total airflow passing through the biosafety cabinet should be reduced by no more than 3%.
● Ultraviolet lamp
The ultraviolet lamp is fixed inside the safety cabinet. The safety cabinet is installed with an interlock device to ensure that the ultraviolet lamp can operate only after the front window is completely closed.
The fixed label on the front of the safety cabinet clearly shows: Danger! Protect your eyes when the ultraviolet lamp is operating.
The ultraviolet lamp installed in the safety cabinet has a wavelength of 254 nm, and the radiation intensity of ultraviolet rays on the inner surface of the working area is not less than 400 mW per square meter.
● Electrical safety
The electrical safety of the safety cabinet complies with GB 4793.1-2007 "Safety requirements for electrical equipment for measurement, control, and laboratory use - Part 1: General requirements".
● Packing
The inner and outer packaging of the safety cabinet are as follows:
Inner packing:Safety cabinet with plastic film winding as the inner packaging, with plastic foam board and other equipment, electrical appliances, electronic switches and other components for protection.
Outer packing:Cover wooden cases and interiors with Rain Water Resistant Protection and comply with approved design documents. The biosafety cabinet is fixed with a pad and does not shake.
● transport
The packaging of the biological safety cabinet can prevent direct drenching by rain and snow, prevent exposure to the sun, and prevent strong vibration. However, it must not be rolled or dropped, and care should be taken during handling. Normal land, sea and air transportation means can be adopted for transportation.
● Keep in storage
Storage environment of the safety cabinet: The relative humidity does not exceed 75%, the temperature is lower than 40℃, the ventilation performance is good, and there is no corrosive gas such as acid or alkali.
Site Installation and Maintenance
▼ The installation or maintenance inspection of the safety cabinet should be carried out by a qualified inspection agency. The period of maintenance inspection does not exceed one year.
▼ The ultraviolet lamp tube is located at the front side of the top inside the operation cabin. There is one with a power of 30W and an ultraviolet wavelength of 254nm.
▼ Before each use of the safety cabinet, spray and wipe the exposed inner surface of the operation cabin with 75% medical alcohol. It is not recommended to use ultraviolet lamps for sterilization.
▼ Fluorescent lamp lighting, T8 lamp tubes, 2 tubes with a power of 30W. The lighting tubes are located inside the front panel of the safety cabinet. Please replace the tubes in time to maintain the lighting intensity.
